Railsware started eighteen years ago with a simple conviction. Yaroslav Lazor believed that if you gathered a team around a shared engineering mindset, rooted in transparency and true craft, you could build something damn good. What began as a Ukrainian underdog has since matured into Railsware: a product studio that has successfully bootstrapped three of its own products while supporting partners across the globe.
Despite growing into a global team, Railsware has kept the same vibe it started with. You won’t find ownership limited by a Slack title here, nor will you find micro-management or processes that exist just for the sake of it. It’s always been about what actually works, not what looks good on paper.
Yaroslav has been talking more lately about how Railsware reached this point, how we held our ground in a crowded market and what it’s really like to build products from scratch. We’ve compiled his recent contributions below. Feel free to listen, watch, or read his take on building product studio.
