The Railsware team designed a collaborative hiring approach to manage candidates’ expectations regarding future responsibilities even before they join us. It also helps us ensure a candidate shares our values and vision, can efficiently grow in our environment, and will be happy working with us (because a happy specialist makes a productive and creative Railswarian😉).

Interview

*You might be asked to complete a Test Task (depending on the position).

Nice to meet you! This is our first personal contact and we’d love to know more about your experience, motivation, and your dream job. Remember, this is a dialog, not an examination. You are more than welcome to ask questions about the Railsware team, processes, workflow, or anything else you might want to know about us.

Pair Collaboration

Next comes collaboration/s with a Railswarian. 

Pair work is an essential part of our team’s culture. It’s an efficient way to communicate ideas, discuss objections, explain the vision and stay productive as a team. During our pair collaboration, we work together as equal teammates on several hands-on tasks to simulate your future work. The tasks are designed to help you show your knowledge, experience, and best soft and hard skills. It allows both sides to understand if it is a good match.

Offer

We share the final decision and our detailed feedback the same or the following day. Welcome aboard!

If there’s no offer, we always strive to explain why and tell you what aspects you can improve to get back to us later.
