We are looking for an Email Deliverability Specialist to join our Mailtrap team. As a part of it, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our email deliverability remains at its peak. You will collaborate with our cross-functional team of experts to protect our customers from potential deliverability threats and resolve any issues that may arise.

Your skills

Proven experience in email deliverability
Strong understanding of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and their implementation to improve deliverability
Familiarity with anti-spam technologies and email filtering systems
Proficiency in using email delivery platforms and analytics tools (e.g., SendGrid, Mailgun, Google Analytics, Looker Studio (former Data Studio), Tableau)
Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot deliverability issues and interpret email performance data
Knowledge of industry regulations, such as CAN-SPAM Act and GDPR, ensuring compliance with relevant laws
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical users
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proactive approach to problem-solving and an enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with the latest email deliverability trends and best practices
Fluent English (both writing and speaking)

Experience with email marketing platforms and ecommerce platforms

Your responsibilities

Investigate and analyze email deliverability problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions for improved inbox placement and open rates
Implement measures to detect and prevent spamming and phishing attempts, safeguarding email deliverability and client reputation
Promptly address and resolve customer support questions related to email deliverability, providing clear explanations and solutions
Continuously monitor and investigate suspicious email activities to protect customers and brand reputation from fraud and spammers
Communicate with mailbox providers to ensure compliance with their guidelines and improve email deliverability rates
Regularly track email delivery performance, bounce rates, and engagement metrics using analytics tools to optimize email deliverability proactively
Create and maintain documentation on best email deliverability practices for internal teams and up to industry standards to support scalability
