Railsware is looking for a professional to join our team in the Krakow or Kyiv office. We need a person who can provide us with strong and extensive legal knowledge as well as hands-on support. We have a lot of areas to be covered by diverse knowledge in the law field.

The range of responsibilities will cover:

  • International law in different areas, such as IP rights, tax advisory, incorporation, contracts, data protection
  • Different legal jurisdictions (United States, European Union, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates)
  • Development and signing various types of agreements
  • Contracts negotiations

We understand that the scope of work we provide on this role is very broad, so you might not be proficient to cover all the areas mentioned above. We expect candidates to be experts in some areas, familiar with others, and to have experience in touching multiple contexts and not being lost.

  • You adapt your knowledge to the current case you work on and try to connect many contexts in your head. This way, you can easily navigate between them when working on legal aspects in Railsware

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate and provide continuous legal support to the Company for both IT consultancy and IT products
  • Manage agreements:
    • Draft, review and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and other external partners
    • Develop NDAs, legal correspondence, company procedures and policies, corporate documents, etc.
    • Create subcontractors and employment contracts
  • Implement data protection processes, such as GDPR, CPA or Data Protection Shield
  • Manage IP rights (incl. trademarks and patents)
  • Support SaaS documentation ( incl. ToS, PP, DPA, certification, etc.)
  • Contribute to development, implementation and support of company legal processes and policies

Your skills


  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in legal practiсe in the international environment
  • Experience in international incorporation, IP rights and data protection, employment and investment legal environments
  • Solid skills in developing and negotiating different types of contracts
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken, international certification such as IELTS, TOEFL is a great virtue)
  • Project Management skills, including
    • Ability to execute on a great level
    • Setting up realistic time frames
    • Efficient collaboration and communication with different people (clients, vendors, colleagues)
  • Detailed approach to work - you have a keen eye to accuracy, your decisions are based on data and facts, not emotions/assumptions
  • Proactiveness and ownership - you don’t wait for anyone to tell you what should be done. You own the process, and if something is unclear, you ask questions

Would be plus

  • Bonus points for knowing tools like:
    • Jira, Trello, Asana - for task/project management
    • Slack, any chat or tool for communication
  • Ability to work with others in an informal environment, socially enabled, not afraid to collaborate
  • Previous experience in IT field
