We are looking for a freelance Full Stack Developer to help us validate our guides and create screencasts for coding parts on Mailtrap YouTube Channel. The ideal candidate will have a background in Ruby or Python, and JavaScript, as well as experience working with different frameworks.
*This is a freelance position. Standard Railsware benefits do not apply.
Your skills
- Senior-level experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong understanding of Ruby OR Python, and JavaScript
- Experience with different frameworks
- Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Advanced English (both writing and speaking)
Your responsibilities
- Distilling the raw footage down from a rough to final cut
- Color correcting video and applying various visual effects
- Enhancing audio and working with the sound design
- Matching the voiceover and screencast tracks
- Adding (and sometimes creating) animated elements according to the given specs
- Formatting final version to fit different social media formats and length
What you will work on
We have launched a Mailtrap Youtube channel, where we are creating How-to guides for developers. We're looking for someone who is passionate about creating content and has experience in the developer space to join our team and help us create high-quality videos that will educate and inspire our audience!
